Days 2 & 3 of AdvoCare 24DC

Welcome to Simply Pure & Beautiful! I am excited you are here and hope you will stop back on by. Today's post is reflecting my days on my AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge. I started this challenge on Monday, and I'm already feeling great and can tell my body is making changes. Yesterday I had to run my grandparents to the grocery store to get a few things before the big snow storm hit and of course I could not just not buy anything. I ended up getting more fruit, fish, and almond milk plus a few other items such as Mrs. Dash!
BAMmmm!!
I can't wait to cook with these seasonings and most importantly they are salt-free. I am trying to stay away from salt this time around on my challenge because it makes the body bloated and retain water. So good bye bloat, hello flat tummy (in time) haha.

Well here I am today! Day 3 and feeling amazing.
When I woke up this morning I felt so refreshed and lean. This made me super motivated to get my day started on the right foot. For breakfast I ate an omelet, sausage, and oatmeal.
The omelet and sausage were good but the oatmeal on the other hand I had to pass on that. It was too mushy for my taste, and good thing because I was already full. About 2 1/2 hours later I ended up eating an apple for my snack and then another 3 hours later I ate lunch. I was on top of my meals today even though I was stuck in a hotel for the majority of the day.
For dinner  I ate a salad and a piece of whole wheat bread. I was a little hungry still so when I got home I ate my egg stuffed tuna.
Overall, these past three days have been easy. I will post day 4 tomorrow and show you my meal prep for the next few days to come!
Interested in trying the 24 Day Challenge but just can't afford the $190 for the whole system. Well I have picked out the three most important products used during the challenge and they are the three shown in the picture above; herbal cleanse, spark, and MNS. You can get all three of these products for just $98 that's almost $100 in savings! What are you waiting for? Make changes in your life that will get you in the best shape of your life.

Here is my transformation I have made with using AdvoCare products and you can have the same results if you give it a shot.

Day 1!

Today I am feeling AMAZING! Woke up around 6 this morning and mixed together my fiber drink and spark. I had to chug that stuff down because it was nasty! Very pulpy and the texture was just sick, but definitely helps get your GI tract a moving. For breakfast I made oatmeal, but I put way to much almond milk in it and it was just too runny. My morning was not starting off on the right foot. So I grabbed an apple and headed on out for work. Once I got to work my day got a little bit better, because the day just moved right along. It seemed like I was only there for a couple of hours vs the 8 I actually was on the clock. While at work I had my meals 2-4 and here is what they consisted of...
Meal 2 was hard boiled egg with tuna in the middle. I made these like deviled eggs but removed the yolks. The tuna was just stuffed in the middle like you would a deviled egg. It gave me a boost of energy that is for sure!
Meal 3 was lunch! I had a spinach salad with snow peas and cucumbers mixed in. I forgot my dang dressing, so I had to use whatever was in the refrigerator which was fat-free ranch. I just had to settle with it.
Meal 4 were cucumber slices (a whole cucumber people!)
I ate all of these meals 2-3 hours apart throughout my day. This kept my energy levels high and metabolism burning as well. I also made sure I was drinking plenty of water today. I had over 10 glasses of water! HOLY CRAP! I was peeing all damn day.
When I got home I waited until around 5:30 to fix my dinner, and I actually snapped a little picture of what I was making to share with you all.
I fixed turkey burgers, asparagus, and a sweet potato. This meal was by far the best I have ate in a while. It was mighty tasty I may add as well.

I made enough to split it up into two separate meals. Of course I ate one tonight and I am going to save the other half for tomorrows lunch. That way when I get home from school I won't have to cook anything. All I will have to do is pop it in the microwave and eat. YAY food!
This is just the beginning of my challenge, but so far so good. I am so ready for the rest of my challenge to run as smoothly as today did.
I will keep everyone posted!

Sisterhood Ice Skating

Friday night was an eventful night full of ice skating with my Phi Mu sisters. I have not ice skated in like 6 years so I was really nervous of falling straight on my ass as soon as I got out on the ice. Well I made it maybe like 20 feet and stepped out. My ass had no balance at all. My little had an orange cone to help her balance and so I decided to test it out. That thing saved my life!
As the night went on we ditched the cones and that was a scary moment for us both. Poor Nicole she was on the ground I think more than she was on the ice. We had a blast though and I can't wait to go again!

We all had so much fun skating around the ice!

Just a few of us girls stopping to get a few pictures.

This girl did an amazing job getting so many of us girls together last night! You are gonna rock as our sisterhood chair Katie!!

Mehhh...my little is the best, I am so glad we got to bond more this weekend & may be there will be more ice skating trips in the near future, because it was a blast!

New Year, New You, 2014!

Stop wishing and start doing! 2014 is the year to reach those unfinished goals you had set for yourself in the year of 2013. Well if your like me your ready for a new year and a new YOU! The year of 2014 will be one of my best years yet. Many of us will make resolutions to eat healthier, workout more, and lose weight, but reflect back on your resolutions from last year. Were they the same as what you are making resolutions for this year? If so, think about what went wrong at either the beginning of 2013 or in the middle of the year and why things didn't go as you wanted them to. Most resolutions don't make it past the first month into the new year, so find what is going to work best for you and stick to it!

One thing I am going to try doing differently this year is adding in a new resolution each month so by the time next year rolls around I will have completed 12 resolutions to make myself a better person. Many of us are already planning out our next year, but I am soaking up 2013 because I am really going to miss it! So much happened this year that is going to change the future of my life for me and I am so excited for the years ahead. Changes were made and they stuck, so now I am ready to impact others around me!

This little video is some of my most popular moments of 2013, so I figured I would share with you all.

Enjoy 2013 and say HELLO to 2014 and make it your best!

Motivational Monday!

HAPPY MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY LADIES!!
It has been a few weeks since I have posted a motivational monday for you all and I am very sorry for that. The end of this semester got super busy for me with studying for finals, finishing up final projects, and writing papers and now I finally caught a break, because today was my last day of finals!! WoooHoooo!
For today's motivational monday I am sharing an inspirational quote that was shared with me from a former Phi Mu sister.

This quote hit home for me, because this past year I have learned a lot about myself. This year hasn't been very easy for me and looking back on all the accomplishments I have achieved in 2013 I am very proud of myself. I have had so many people tell me how much I inspire them with the way I stick to a plan with my clean eating habits and workouts. It really means a lot to me when I hear things like that, because it has not been easy. There were times I wanted to just quit and give up on my dreams and goals, but with so many motivational and inspiring people I have surrounded myself with I was able to stick with my plans.
I have big plans and dreams for the year of 2014! I CAN NOT WAIT TO SHARE THEM WITH YOU ALL!!!
I will keep you all updated and be on the lookout for a fresh new start to 2014.

Motivational Monday

Motivational Monday!
Today’s post is all about the motivation! I want to share with you how I do my meal prep & some tips to make it more successful. When cooking meats prep them all and then split them up equally & proportionally for your week.

Notice anything?
I try to keep my meals fairly similar throughout the week.
#1 Reason why! Makes prepping EASY & I know I am eating CLEAN & HEALTHY!
#2 Reason. I am in college & always on the go. My life gets fairly busy, so having a schedule that’s almost set makes my life run smoother (for me). I am sure everyone else’s lives get busy & stressful. When I know I am eating bad it begins to stress me out.

Planning=SUCCESS
I can tell you I never use to meal prep & it was hard to eat clean 90% of the time when I wasn’t 100% sure if it was “clean” or “healthy” enough to be putting in my body.

Since introducing AdvoCare into my life I have learned so much about processed foods, transfats, sodium & sugar intakes, etc that it has really educated me on what is truly the key to any weight loss success. Because for me when starting AdvoCare I was about losing the excess weight I was caring around, but now my outlook has changed just slightly. I still would love to continue to lose a few more pounds, but now I am really about making healthier choices & bettering my life. With AdvoCare I have been able to lose a total of 15 lbs & share my story with others about my journey through the process.

It won’t be easy! You have to challenge yourself & not give in to the temptations. So take this Monday & be motivated by this post to take this week by the reigns and show it what’s up! Maybe it will inspire you to start meal prepping, wonder what the heck is this AdvoCare thing, or be motivated to workout, so whatever it may be challenge yourself to be better this week.
As always questions about AdvoCare or the products please direct them to srwadvocare@gmail.com

I would love for YOU to join my team & share with others the amazing products & stories this business has to offer!

Did you know?

I need to start purchasing me some wheat grass, because I fall short of getting 5 servings of veggies in my diet everyday.
